Cooling Mist-Bath and Body Works

One of my favorite things from Bath & Body Works is their Cooling Mists. I have three of them because i love them so much. I have Japanese Cherry Blossom, Black Amethyst, and Orange Sapphire. I decided to review them because on the Bath & Body Works website they are 75% off! They are usually $12.00 but now you can buy them online for only $3 dollars! Cooling Mists feel so good and give your body a subtle scent and are really cool on the skin. I love these after a workout or after i've spent a lot of time outside. It just feels so good on your skin. Also right after a shower i spray these on and they just leave my skin feeling really good. The cooling mists also have a little bit of Aloe Vera which will condition your skin while refreshing your scent and leave your skin feeling amazing. You can spray these everywhere on your body but they can get very cold so be careful! You can get these Cooling Mists at the Bath & Body Works Store and online.

Brendan James-The Lucky Ones

My new favorite song is The Lucky Ones by Brendan James. I had never heard of him until i was looking up trailers and saw the trailer for How Do You Know (starring Reese Witherspoon). This song was playing in the background and i really liked it. I looked in the comments and they said this song was the song in the video. The song just came out today so i purchased it, as well as the rest of the album as soon as i can (September 7,2010). After listening to it fully a few times i fell in love with it. Its a really amazing song. The album titled Brendan James has this song as well as another personal favorite The Fall, and Anything for You. All of the songs on this album are amazing but i especially love The Lucky Ones. James is super talented and i keep asking myself why he isn't more famous. This is totally my favorite song at the moment. Please go check it out and make sure to rate this album five stars!

Victoria's Secret- Beauty Rush Lip Gloss

Ok so my new favorite lipgloss is the Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss Swirl. You can get these at Victorias Secret and they are only around $7 for one lipgloss. That is a really good price especially because they last you a really long time and stay on your lips for a really long time. They have a really pretty color to them and the swirl gives the color just that extra shimmer. These glosses come in four different colors. Bath and Body Works also has other colors but i really like these swirled lip glosses because of the extra dimension that the glosses give you. Just one more added bonus, the lip glosses taste so sweet and amazing. Purchase one as soon as you can. They are a great buy!

The Midi Mafia-Vegas Lights

Ok. So it is 9:30 tonight and i am trying to fit a few blogs in. Ok this is an album that i am IN LOVE WITH. It is called Vegas Lights by Midi Mafia. Midi Mafia originated on YouTube and many famous YouTubers have promoted them through music videos. I love their song PHamous (inspired by Planet Hollywood in Vegas) and their song with fellow YouTube star DaveDays called Lucky. Both songs are dance songs and so much fun to rock out to. I can't wait to do our cheerleading dances to these songs. Both songs have even been featured on the MTV hit show Jersey Shore while the stars are at the club. These song on the whole album are so amazing and fun and so i totally recommend you go and buy it on iTunes.

Jesse James-Boys in the Summer

Now i am just trying to catch up on my posts. Ok this song has been on repeat A LOT during my summer vacation. It is so peppy and is so cheerful. I could listen to it all day. It really captures summer and is so true, Boys do look hotter in the summer. I have always loved Jesse James and her songs always make me feel good. They are dance type songs. She is so pretty and this song is just the perfect summer girl song. I think that Boys in the Summer and California Gurls have been the two pop summer songs this year. Do you agree?

Bruno Mars-Just the Way You Are

The song that I will be talking about today is a song by Bruno Mars. I first heard about Bruno Mars when his collaboration with B.o.B came out called Nothin' On You. Then I heard him on Billionaire and then in his many albums. He has basically exploded and i hear him performing on award shows and talk shows all the time. When i heard his super-sweet song Just the Way You Are. My heart melted. These are the things every girl wants to hear and it has a really sweet message and a sweet tune. Bruno Mars has such an amazing voice and it doesn't seem autotuned at all which it really hard to find these days. This song has been on the iTunes top 10 for about a week now and i hope it stays on there because it deserves it. This is such an amazing song and i totally recommend you stop by the iTunes store to download it.

Hey Guys,
So I really haven't posted anything since about May. That will soon change. i will promise (hopefully) to post something every day or every other day. It will be music and beauty related. For those of you who have just started looking at this blog. i talk about my favorite albums or songs as well as beauty finds and clothing sales. I think that i might also do something where i talk about YouTube videos that i really like. It will be a good way to raise awareness of some of the funniest videos at the moment. I love YouTube and so it will be something that will be fun to blog about. haha. I also have another blog for tv shows and stuff like that but it isn't updated as frequently as this one will. I am so sorry that i haven't blogged in a while but that will soon be changing.

Bath and Body Works: Scent Rollers

I was recently at Bath and Body Works and controlled myself from buying more than one item. I was so close to go for the buy two get one free deal but i restrained myself. The item that i purchased was a Moonlight Path Scent Roller. In these scent rollers you get about .28 fluid ounces. That is enough product to just use on your certain areas of your body for added scent. This scent is not the body mist you can get at Bath and Body Works that is less concentrated and stays on a less amount of time than the actual perfume. If i put on some of the body mist in the morning, it has worn off in about 3 hours. Then i want to spray some more on and it gets annoying to have to go to the bathroom a few hundred times a day to respray my body with the body mist. Instead of doing that, i just keep one of these rollers in my purse, pocket or locker to just apply between classes or whenever you feel your smell is fading. It is so handy and only $7.50 for a little bottle of the perfume roll-on. I recommend this and it comes in most of the signature scents so you can match it with the original scent you put on. Please go buy this product. Right now they are one a buy two get one free so even more of a reason to stock up. These are so portable and that way you will always smell amazing in every hour of the day.

Victoria's Secret: New PINK Body Splash and Lotion

As many of you know, i am obsessed with PINK body splashes. I own every single scent and i use them all frequently. The newest edition to the collection is called pretty & pure. This bottle, unlike the ordinary bottles, has some flower designs on the outside. Most of the bottles are just plain pink colored and have the emblem of the perfume. This lotion and body splash has the prettiest bottle ever in PINK perfume history (I actually don't know but oh well). This smell is very refreshing and is scented with jasmine and pink lemonade. The body splash even has a slight moisturizer for an added bonus!! The lotion has the same smell. I totally recommend this scent especially for the summer because of its light smell that is very flirty and perfect for summer. Sold at most Victoria's Secret stores or online.

American Idol Update- Wednesday May 5,2010

I know that today is Thursday but I still need to review American Idol from yesterday. First up, Lady Gaga performed. She performed her hit song Alejandro (which is one of my favorite Lady Gaga songs). The backdrop and scenery in the performance was had a gothic vibe and was a little overwhelming. The background dancers were very touchy with Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga's outfit was a little inappropriate for the little 7 and 8 year olds watching. I still thought she sounded amazing which is very hard to do while dancing at the same time.
The bottom two for this week was Michael and Aaron. Unfortunately, Aaron was eliminated. He was my favorite contestant this weekend. I personally didn't think that Casey did a very good job on Tuesday (and please never wear a bun again Casey) so i thought he deserved to get eliminated but Aaron was eliminated instead. Lee was safe from the beginning and also Crystal and Casey were safe as well. For only 17 years old, Aaron, you have had the best opportunity and your life will be different forever by it. Next Tuesday it will be crazy to only see Lee, Crystal, Casey and Michael perform. I hope that they all do very well.
I don't know if you guys remember Alex Lambert from American Idol before the Top 24 who was AMAZING. I was so surprised that he wasn't choosen in the Top 24. I just recently saw that he just recorded his first demo and is now on the show "If I Can Dream" which is starring Justin Gaston (who is famous for being Miley Cyrus's ex Boyfriend). I can't wait for Alex to come out with an album or at least a few demo tracks. He was one of my favorite contestants from this season as well as Aaron, and now they won't be the NEXT AMERICAN IDOL.

Music Update-Favorite Song May 6, 2010

Today my favorite song is "Like We Used To" by A Rocket to the Moon. This song reminds me of Hollywood's Not America and i am very into songs like that. This song is so sweet and is so sad. It is basically about someone relieving some of their best memoires from their relationship and how it should be that person in the car with their ex. This has a very "Owl City" vibe to me but i like it better. Maybe kind of a Owl City meets Ferreas to create this song. This song is from their album On Your Side. This genre is Alternative and Alternative music has become very popular lately and this song still reminds me of pop music as while. This song is a must have and i have to check out their other popular songs and do an update on it.

Music Update-Favorite Song May 5, 2010

My favorite song today is Hollywood's Not America by Ferreas. This song is so sweet and is very cheery. I could listen to this song for hours and still not get tired of it. I am listening to it right now and it always puts me in a really good mood. I have never heard of Ferras before this song and so i will have to check out his other songs. I told all of my friends to go out and buy this song and now everyone is singing it constantly. This is one of the best songs i have heard in a while and i will always have this song on my favorite's playlist.

Music Update-Favorite Song May 4,2010

Today my favorite song is My First Kiss (feat. Ke$ha) by 3OH!3. This is their newest single that just came out today. I am usually not a HUGE fan of 3OH!3 but i really liked this song. I thought that it was cool to have Ke$ha in the song as well because their voices are totally different apart (in my opinion) but when they sang together, i thought their voices complimented each others. I have a feeling that this song will become really popular, but i don't think it will surpass Starstukk. That song will never go out of style. (well maybe). Thats all for now. Off to bed.

Bath and Body Works Scent Analysis: Warm Vanilla Sugar

One of my favorite Bath and Body Works Scents is Warm Vanilla Sugar. I have it in almost every product that Bath and Body Works makes. I totally recommend their body scrub and their triple-moisture body wash and lotion.
The warm vanilla sugar scent is sweet and creamy. As i smell it right now it reminds me of vanilla cream with a caramel twist. This scent is the most comforting to me and i wear it if i am just hanging around at home and want to be comfortable. I don't like it as much when i am going out but it is very comforting and reminds me of home. It also reminds me of freshly baked sugar cookies. I know i am hungry too. I am not always into sweet smells but this is totally the exception.
When i was talking to my friends about their favorite smells, most of them choose Warm Vanilla Sugar and Sweet Pea. I really like Warm Vanilla Sugar and i would totally recommend it as a comforting scent that will help you when you are sad or just want to smell delicious!!

Music Update-Favorite Song May 3,2010

So as i look through the new B.o.B i recently purchased, i spot my favorite song. I have been a huge fan of B.o.B, as i think everyone is, ever since Nothin' on you came out. That song is brilliant and all of his songs that i own are constantly on repeat. From his new album, i love the song Magic. It is so good. I love it so much. I really also like the song Airplanes Pt. II. I LOVED Airplanes and the fact that Eminem is on this track makes it even better. So i would say that my favorite song today is Airplanes Pt. II. If you haven't heard this song already, i would go check it out off of B.o.B's new album; B.o.B Presents: Adventures of Bobby Ray (Deluxe). I got all of B.o.B's songs and it was totally worth every penny. I hope that his career will continue to grow and i will be supporting it the whole time. His album is in stores and iTunes now. GO CHECK IT OUT!!
